Ateshgah Fire Temple

Ateshgah is a pentagonal courtyard enclosed by walls with a domed altar in the centre. Cells for pilgrims are set into the walls. Today the complex is an open-air museum whose exhibition traces the history of fire cults on the Absheron peninsula.
